“Forging Alliances: The Coalition Teams Up with Other Folks Can Wing for Gears of War”
People Can Fly is collaborating with The Coalition on the upcoming Gears of War game, Gears of War: E-Day.
In a brief statement today, People Can Fly expressed it was “honored” to return to the Gears of War universe after previously serving as the lead developer on Judgment and co-developer on Gears of War 1, 2, and 3.
“Returning to work on the next installment of this iconic saga is a great privilege and an exciting chance to enhance the thrilling, immersive action and compelling narratives that our fans adore. We are incredibly thankful for the trust and support from our partners throughout this journey,” stated PCF’s CEO, Sebastian Wojciechowski.
“Gears of War: E-Day is not just our upcoming major release; it’s a revival of the elements that make Gears of War titles distinctive and genuine,” added Coalition studio head Mike Crump. “We are delighted to be collaborating with the skilled team at People Can Fly, who have been integral to the legacy of our franchise for quite some time.”
Last year, we discovered that John DiMaggio and Carlos Ferro will reprise their roles as Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago in Gears of War: E-Day.
The announcement—which was shared on the official Gears of War X account on the 18th anniversary of the third-person shooter series last November—also included a photo of DiMaggio and Ferro together again.
