Fireshine Games Welcomes Brian Foote as New CEO
By Foote brings over twenty years of experience in the sector, including positions at Microsoft, PlayStation, and Team17.
Fireshine Games has revealed the appointment of Brian Foote as its new CEO.
Foote became part of Fireshine in 2024 as the chief officer for business development. He will step into the CEO role, succeeding founder James Cato after his retirement.
With over two decades of industry experience, Foote has worked across retail and publishing domains. His previous positions include roles at Amazon, Team17, and Microsoft, in addition to extensive experience with PlayStation’s global third-party team.
“Fireshine Games has experienced significant growth in its digital operations in recent years, and 2024 brought notable success with the launches of Core Keeper and Shadows of Doubt,” Foote stated.
“We have established a robust publishing team alongside a strong business framework, which has allowed us to navigate the challenging industry landscape effectively. We have an exciting slate of releases ahead.”
