By Arriving this December
During the peak of the Switch era, Square Enix introduced physical editions of Final Fantasy VII & Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Twin Pack alongside Final Fantasy IX in select territories.
In a recent update, the company has announced that these physical editions will officially launch in North America on December 9th, 2025. Each will be priced at $39.99, with pre-orders currently open on the Square Enix site.
“Enjoy three legendary journeys anytime, anywhere: Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX are set to release physically on Nintendo Switch in North America starting December 9th, 2025!”

As mentioned in the details on the official Square Enix site, the Twin Pack will be available on a single cartridge with no download necessary.
Square Enix will additionally be launching Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on the Switch 2 early next year. They also recently unveiled Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles.
