Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has thoroughly occupied many players’ leisure time over the previous week. The game officially debuted on Switch on 21st May, but with an early access phase on other platforms commencing on the 18th, player numbers have soared and word-of-mouth has been exceptionally vibrant. Consequently, Level-5 has annouced, in response, some complimentary DLC.
Identified by RPG Site, Level-5 plans to offer DLC “in response to high demand” at no cost. Although details surrounding the DLC remain sparse, including its release date, President and CEO Akihiro Hino has verified that new recipes, the capability to utilize high-rarity weapons, and fresh content to “enhance the world” are on the way.
In all likelihood, this DLC was previously underway, but public feedback regarding the game seems to have instigated a swifter announcement. Which is fantastic! Especially considering the apprehensions surrounding the game prior to its launch.
Initial footage on Switch wasn’t precisely dazzling, and reports surfaced that the development team needed to reorganize and modify a lot after lead producer Keiji Inafune — renowned for his contributions to Mega Man — exited the company during development. However, it seems that all is looking very promising for the game.
Moreover, from our experiences thus far, we’ve been having a wonderful time with Fantasy Life i. Stay tuned for our review shortly, and if you’re contemplating a purchase, check out our video to see how the game performs on Switch.
How do you find Fantasy Life i? What would you like to see in the forthcoming complimentary DLC? Share your thoughts in the comments.
