Segment 2 is set to debut in 2026

This week has been monumental in the world of Dragon Ball, marked by the final episode of the latest anime Dragon Ball Daima airing.

Alongside this, a fresh trailer has been unveiled for segment one of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot – Daima – Adventure in the Demon Realm Pack. This downloadable content (DLC) is anticipated to arrive in Summer 2025 (between July and September 2025) and may potentially be followed by the second segment between January and March 2026.

This new DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot revisits the journey of the anime series, where Goku and his companions venture into the Demon Realm after they are transformed into children by Supreme King Gomah. Therefore, if you’ve watched the anime, you might already have an idea of what to expect.

“The DLC will take players on a journey into an entirely new world that they will explore, featuring the Third Demon Realm with its floating islands and enigmatic Skyseed plants scattered throughout. As Goku, aided by Supreme Kai, Glorio, and Panzy, players will be engrossed in this exciting new adventure and experience the DAIMA story! Goku’s friends will join throughout the quests, providing their support skills and Z combo. Gamers can anticipate a fresh combat experience due to the introduction of unique elements in the DLC, such as the Energy Pole or Goku’s new (mini) Super Saiyan form.”

The Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Daima DLC bundle is available on the Switch eShop for $34.99 USD and also includes several bonus items. If you haven’t played this game yet, a demo is also available on the Switch eShop.

This Daima-related announcement comes a year after the loss of Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, who was also behind the artwork in games like Dragon Quest.
