Yet the Switch ordeal is said to be “less satisfying”

Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots can prove entertaining on Switch, although a few facets—particularly performance—clearly need polish. Thankfully, studio Hyde alongside Bandai Namco appear to be tackling some shortcomings already.
As Good Vibes Gaming on YouTube and ex-Nintendo Life video host Jon Cartwright point out, the game has just received a post-launch update, advancing it to Version 1.1.1. The patch reportedly removes the 30 fps ceiling that was previously enforced on both Switch and Switch 2.
Early testing suggests the upgrade benefits Switch 2 significantly, allowing the software to reach 60 fps “quite frequently,” though specific weather visuals may still cause dips.
Unfortunately, the same tweak is believed to have deteriorated playability on the original Switch. With the cap gone—and no option to toggle it back—the handheld now hovers near 35 fps, creating “notably jerky swing timing” compared with the steadier 30 fps lock.
This Hot Shots patch arrives hot on the heels of a similar 60 fps boost given to the Clap Hanz release Easy Come Easy Golf. Should Bandai publish the formal changelog, we’ll update you straight away.
