By Release the Switch 2, please!
Bethesda is poised to officially disclose The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered tomorrow, 22nd April 2025. A livestream event is scheduled to commence at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST / 5pm CET / 1am AET (Wed), during which we anticipate a trailer will be revealed to showcase all of those appealing visual enhancements.
There is also speculation that Bethesda might actually surprise everyone by releasing Oblivion Remastered at the same moment, with earlier chatter indicating a possible launch this month.
The pressing inquiry on our minds is whether it will also become available on the Switch 2. For the moment, we’re disregarding the original Switch (although stranger occurrences have taken place!), but we believe it’s entirely feasible for Bethesda to announce the game for Nintendo’s new console alongside the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
However, it won’t debut on the Switch 2 tomorrow because, well… the Switch 2 isn’t out yet. A brief note to mention that it’s scheduled for Summer 2025 or Fall 2025..? Yes, we can certainly envision that happening.
Regardless, more information will be available tomorrow.
