The DualSense Edge is currently available at a new all-time low price on Amazon. Players on PS5 and PC can obtain PlayStation’s official pro-style wireless controller for merely $165 (originally $200). Amazon’s $35 reduction pertains to the initial white/black model of the DualSense Edge. Should you prefer the more recent Midnight Black variant, it’s priced at $175 on Amazon and Walmart, which is near the historic low of $170.
The DualSense Edge seldom experiences significant discounts, and it remains uncertain how long these offers will last, so it would be wise not to delay if you’re interested.
The DualSense Edge is to the PS5 what the Elite Series 2 is to Xbox. If you can manage the cost–even with the deal, it’s approximately $100 higher than the standard PS5 controller–the DualSense Edge represents an excellent controller for both PS5 and PC. In addition to the features present on the original model, the DualSense Edge offers the following key specifications:
- Two sets of interchangeable paddles
- Three sets of stick caps: standard, tall dome, low dome
- Trigger locks with three stopping positions
- Two customizable Function buttons for menus/settings
- Braided USB-C cable with optional connector housing
- Hardshell carry case

You can explore a comprehensive analysis of the DualSense Edge below. Additionally, we’ve provided a catalog of the Limited Edition DualSense Controllers available for purchase today. PlayStation launched five new limited-edition PS5 controllers in October–three of which are currently available at Amazon–giving you numerous attractive choices.

White: $165 (originally $200) | Black: $175 (originally $200)
The enhanced craftsmanship of the DualSense Edge is instantly noticeable when you hold the controller. It combines all the exciting technology from the classic controller with high-quality, interchangeable components and beneficial input customization features.
PlayStation’s pro-style controller consists of two distinct sets of remappable back paddles. It offers traditional paddles that closely resemble those of the Elite Series 2. The remaining two paddles are smaller semi-circular shapes. You can only connect one set at a time, yet both designs are robust.
The paddles can be replaced in mere seconds. The hot-swappable design applies to the three different styles of analog sticks. Rather than attaching magnetically like on the Elite Series 2, the stick caps click securely into position.
It maintains the DualSense’s adaptive triggers while introducing switches that change the travel distance. There are three stopping points, including the default setting. The most limiting option essentially converts the triggers into buttons.
The two programmable function buttons allow you to cycle through as many as 30 custom profiles, along with additional settings like audio volume.
Profiles can be developed in the DualSense Edge settings menu on PS5 or through the PlayStation Accessories application on PC. You can remap all buttons, modify stick and trigger sensitivities, create dead zones, adjust the intensity of the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, and save these settings to custom profiles. These profiles can then be assigned to the function buttons, enabling rapid switching between setups during gameplay.
The DualSense Edge wirelessly connects to PS5, PC, Mac, and mobile devices via Bluetooth. For competitive gamers who favor wired connections, the DualSense Edge is equipped with a detachable lock for the braided USB-C cable, ensuring the cord does not accidentally disconnect from the controller’s port. Similar to the standard DualSense, adaptive trigger feedback and haptics are usually limited to wired mode on PC.
The controller and all its components are compactly housed in the provided hardshell carrying case. Previously, the DualSense Edge was only available in a combination white/black design, but PlayStation introduced a Midnight Black edition earlier this year.
