Deadlock‘s roster is about to swell substantially over the coming fortnight, with six fresh champions landing in a staggered roll-out. The incoming lineup for Valve’s steampunk MOBA includes a bloodsucker, a doorkeeper, a Frankenstein–inspired brute, and a four-legged goat.
Mina, the vampire, is already playable, while the debut order for the remaining five is up for community vote—new combatants will arrive every 48 hours in the same rolling cadence that Team Fortress 2 fans once loved.

Now Playing: What Is Deadlock?
Mina enters as a fragile sniper firing burst Spirit damage from afar. She morphs into a cloud of bats to flee danger, while her ultimate detonates a larger swarm that tracks and muzzles foes.
Valve hasn’t showcased the other five newcomers yet, but their working names are out: Billy the demonic goat, Paige the librarian spell-caster, The Doorman, Victor the stitched abomination, and the ominous Drifter. Early versions were accidentally exposed earlier this year when a private test build went live on a stream.

You’ll pick the next fighter to release by using polling stations inside the brand-new Hideout—your own private lounge between matches. The Hideout contains terminals for navigating menus and a shooting range for trying out abilities on the fly. Friends can drop in or you can hop to their lounges.
The patch also spruces up map visuals and completely revamps the hero-selection screen, with more character model refreshes promised in later updates.
Deadlock remains in invitation-only early access; you need an invite from an existing tester to log in. Development is still fluid, and major systems like the item shop are being overhauled on a regular basis. Valve hasn’t set a date for a full launch or public beta.
