By JAKKS Pacific is set to launch a completely new toy collection
In 2024, Sega revealed its collaboration with DC Comics to introduce a unique comic series featuring Sonic the Hedgehog alongside his companions portrayed as legendary superheroes like Batman and Superman.
At that time, they also indicated that this alliance would continue into 2025 and 2026, and today they reaffirmed this by announcing a partnership with toy manufacturer JAKKS Pacific. Jakks will unveil an “entirely new toy line” inspired by the DC x Sonic the Hedgehog crossover.
Here’s what to anticipate from this fresh toy collection, as per the official press release:
“The toy series will spotlight beloved characters from both universes, including Sonic, Shadow, Tails, along with members of DC’s Justice League such as Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, reimagined in vibrant, action-packed crossover styles. This exciting collection will encompass articulated action figures, vehicles, and plush toys, celebrating the heroic flair and visual thrill of both franchises.”
This upcoming toy line is projected to arrive in stores and online platforms in Fall 2025. “The narrative features DC’s Justice League joining forces with Team Sonic as DC Super-Villain, Darkseid, breaches dimensions to invade Sonic the Hedgehog’s realm.
