No-cost and premium downloadable content is incoming

Daemon x Machina: Titanic Scion touched down on Switch 2 at the start of this week, and with the title now live, the developers have outlined what extra content is coming after launch.
The schedule features a complimentary update roadmap stretching from October to December, plus several premium add-ons. The no-charge DLC kicks off on 2 October 2025 with an additional boss and a cosmetic unlock. Two more bosses plus extra cosmetics will arrive later that month, and a final trio of fresh bosses will drop in December.
A paid “Into the Abyss” Expansion is pencilled in for release sometime during November.
Our verdict called it a solid mech adventure, albeit a tad unwieldy in spots. A Switch 2 trial version is up on the eShop now, letting you sample the opening nine chapters and roam the open world at will. Multiplayer is baked in, and any progress you make transfers to the full game.
