However, it has nothing to disclose at this moment

Switch 2 is anticipated to possess significantly more power under the hood and has already drawn some third-party franchises from Electronic Arts that have been overlooking Nintendo platforms for numerous years. Considering this, Codemasters is evaluating if the new hybrid system might be a “suitable match” for its Formula One series.
Speaking to the sim racing platform Traxion recently, F1 25‘s creative director Gavin Cooper indicated that his team requires “some clever individuals” to initially assess the new Nintendo system and determine what it “can genuinely perform and if it’s indeed a suitable match” for the F1 gaming experience.
Currently, the UK developer has nothing to announce or present, but there will “undoubtedly” be discussions internally:
“We’ll undoubtedly engage in those discussions internally, but there’s nothing we can disclose at this moment.”
Codemasters formerly released GRID Autosport on the Switch eShop in 2019 and it was generally well received, despite lacking the multiplayer feature at launch. This was eventually included as a complimentary update.
Regarding the Formula One titles, the last entry on a Nintendo platform was the kart spin-off F1 Race Stars Powered Up Edition during the Wii U era.
Codemasters was acquired by EA in 2021 – with the third-party titan securing not just GRID and F1, but also franchises like DIRT and Project CARS. EA has already proclaimed it’s bringing the next EA FC and Madden games to Switch 2.
