Following last month’s unveil of the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo hinted at something we’ve all eagerly anticipated (especially after weeks of leaks) — a potential ‘mouse’ option. A brief sneak peek showcased the optical sensor, with the Joy-Con smoothly gliding over a surface like a mouse.
Several obvious titles come to mind that would benefit significantly from a mouse controller, but the most apparent is next week’s upcoming release, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII. So it’s no surprise that those at IGN decided to ask developer Firaxis about their views on this prospective feature during an interview.
