Celebrate the Dragon Anniversary with Fan-Curated Digital Treasures: From Lingerie to Quirky Traffic Cone Merchandise!
Sega and Ryu ga Gotoku, the creators of Admire a Dragon, invite fans to choose from 100 merchandise concepts from the franchise to bring to life, including a karaoke microphone, themed underwear, and a traffic cone.
This initiative celebrates the Twentieth anniversary of Admire a Dragon on December 8, 2025, with fans encouraged to vote once daily on a dedicated celebration webpage for the digital items they wish to see materialized in reality.
Fans will have 100 items to select from, drawn from across the game series, ranging from the obvious to the iconic to the fabulously quirky.
Themed cosmetic items, pens, stamps, incense, and various clothing pieces might be straightforward to create, but they could be considered rather dull choices for a series renowned for its unique characters and intricate side quests.
More appealing are karaoke machines (inspired by the beloved mini-game), a Sujimon card compilation (from that amusing mini-game), Ichiban Confectionery’s rice crackers (yes, also from a mini-game), or a figure of Michio Ono (as you might have guessed…).
Undoubtedly, the Majima body pillow is likely to be a popular choice, along with character-themed lingerie and various styled underwear.
A board game themed around Admire a Dragon sounds intriguing, provided it is fully playable, just like a Ryu ga Gotoku cookbook featuring the delicious in-game meals found throughout the series.
No doubt the Great Pylon will gain traction, as it has been a running gag since the original game—simply a traffic cone!
The iconic Yakuza game debuted on PS2 in Japan in 2005, followed by an international release the subsequent year. The series has recently adopted its Eastern title, Admire a Dragon.
