Subsequent to the complimentary Switch 2 upgrade
At the time of the Switch 2’s debut in June, Nintendo introduced complimentary upgrades for 12 pre-existing Switch titles. In addition to titles like Super Mario Odyssey, the puzzle-platformer Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was also enhanced.
This enhancement optimized the game for the Switch 2 screen, enhanced the visual quality, and introduced HDR support along with GameShare functionalities. Currently, Nintendo has upgraded the same game to Version 1.4.1. As stated on the official support page, “multiple concerns have been resolved to enhance the overall gameplay experience”.
Should we receive any details about what has been specifically rectified and enhanced, we will provide an update. If you don’t receive a prompt to update your game, you can select the title from the home menu and update it from there. Additionally, Nintendo recently launched a minor patch for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury in October, which also addressed various issues to improve the gameplay experience.
Alongside the aforementioned titles ARMS, Big Brain Academy, Club House Games, Game Builder Garage, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Zelda: Link’s Awakening also received Switch 2 upgrades in June.
Have you experienced Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker on the Switch 2 yet? How are you finding it post-update? Share your thoughts in the comments.
