Diablo 4 has been on a bit of a nerfing spree recently, yet an upcoming patch reverses that trend with a series of enhancements for all six classes.
Hot off the press, the new Diablo 4 2.3.1 patch notes present largely positive updates for all players, as alongside a lengthy list of bug corrections and quality of life enhancements, indeed, every class is receiving buffs. The patch is set to launch on July 15.
Starting with Spiritborn, Aspect of Pestilence, Payback, and Razor Wings are all receiving damage boosts from 35-75% to 50-90%, 125% to 150%, and 75% to 95%, respectively.
Barbarians will undoubtedly reap the greatest rewards from 2.3.1. Your Barbarian’s Double Swing and Hammer of the Ancients will see their damage rise from 66% to 85% and 110% to 175%, respectively, while Rend’s bleeding damage will increase from 120% to 135%. Additionally, Upheaval will escalate from 132% to 200%, Whirlwind from 52% to 76%, and Barbed Carapace’s thorns from 100% to 120%.
In contrast, Necromancers are getting the least significant boost, with a slight increase to the Hulking Monstrosity (I enjoy this game) passive’s Golem damage sacrifice benefit from 35% to 60%.
Druids are set to see a damage enhancement for Pulverize, moving from 150% to 175%, along with some adjustments to the Greatstaff of the Crone that enhance its compatibility with Claw and Storm Strike.
Your Rogue’s Deathmask of Nirmitruq is seeing a damage increase from 70% to 100%, while the Breakneck Bandit’s Aspect will rise from 25-45% to 35-55%.
Finally, Sorcerers will be pleased to learn that Meteor’s impact damage will rise from 120% to 140%, Aspect of Frozen Orbit’s Frozen Orb damage is receiving a bump from 30-50% to 50-70%, and Aspect of Frozen Memories’ Avalanche Vulnerable damage will grow from 50-75% to 75-100%.
Aside from Barbarians, all the enhancements are rather modest, and even the Barbarian modifications aren’t extreme. But hey, it’s certainly better than a kick in the teeth, or yet another series of nerfs.
