Assassin’s Creed Shadows appears to be making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 as well.

Ubisoft’s expansive open-world adventure has been a tremendous success since its release earlier this year, and an impending PEGI leak hints that it intends to reach an even broader audience on Nintendo’s latest system.

According to PEGI’s homepage featuring the ‘most searched games,’ the listing for Assassin’s Creed Shadows indicates its availability across four platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and the Nintendo Switch 2. As of now, Ubisoft has not officially commented on Assassin’s Creed Shadows launching as an upcoming title for Switch 2.

This could just be a significant error on PEGI’s side—it’s worth noting that the game’s specific page makes no reference to the Switch 2. However, given Ubisoft’s decision to port Star Wars Outlaws to the handheld console and their previous effort with the Wii U (who remembers Zombi U?), it wouldn’t be entirely surprising if they decided to bring this latest blockbuster to the platform as well.

In the meantime, the Switch 2 version of Star Wars Outlaws recently announced a release date at the Star Wars Celebration Japan: September 4, while other gamers can explore its narrative expansion on May 14.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is also receiving similar backing from the publisher. The development team is currently “actively exploring” the possibility of an even more challenging difficulty setting, along with new patches and at least one expansion-sized DLC for Assassin’s Creed Shadows titled Claws of Awaji, set to arrive sometime in 2025.
