By An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) apparatus can be quite intimidating for those who experience claustrophobia, so it seems reasonable that one of the famously confined diagnostic machines will give its name to an upcoming high-octane martial arts action film featuring The Raid actor Iko Uwais now cast in the principal role (via Variety).
Simply named MRI, the film places Uwais in the part of a hospital patient who arrives for a standard examination of his injured knee when a group of assassins breaches the hospital in quest of a rival crime lord’s daughter. Uwais’ character will need to wield his extensive martial arts abilities to rescue her, even though his painfully injured knee complicates matters.
