Although it debuted to mixed reviews in 2001, A Knight’s Tale has transformed into something of a cult favorite over the years. Today, fans can include the film in their 4K Blu-ray collection with the forthcoming A Knight’s Tale 4K Steelbook edition. Preorders are now available ahead of its May 20 release, and in addition to a premium steelbook, it offers exclusive never-before-seen features.

A Knight’s Tale 4K Steelbook features both a 4K and standard Blu-ray version of the film. The 4K edition benefits from Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos surround sound. Both discs come encased in a stunning steelbook packaging.
Although it is currently priced at $56, the cost is likely to decrease prior to release. Preordering via Amazon means you won’t be charged until the item ships, and you’ll be eligible for any price reductions between now and the release date.

A Knight’s Tale 4K Steelbook Bonus Features
This special A Knight’s Tale 4K Steelbook Edition includes five never-before-seen deleted and extended scenes, an all-new gag reel, and the featurette “Quill and Quarterhorse: 2nd Unit Photography.” Additionally, it contains behind-the-scenes commentary and bonus material from previous releases. Note that the special features are presented in 1080p definition.

A Knight’s Tale is a comedy featuring Heath Ledger as a lowly squire masquerading as a knight to gain fame and fortune. It’s a hilarious film that has aged well over time. This is the first occasion the film will be accessible in 4K, although there is also a $7 standard Blu-ray version available on Amazon.
