Alongside a physical edition as well
If you are also fond of Undertale, there’s a strong chance you’ve heard of OFF, even if you haven’t had the chance to actually try it out. Creator Toby Fox often mentions this RPG as a significant influence on Undertale, and now the 2008 cult classic is heading to the Switch.
Set to arrive in 2025, this new port features authentic translations in several languages (including English) along with a myriad of improvements for overall gameplay. Fans and newcomers can look forward to a revamped combat system, enhanced balancing, as well as brand new areas and foes created by developer Mortis Ghost.
While it will certainly be available digitally, those interested in a physical edition will be well served, as Fangamer is set to release both a standard edition and a collector’s edition, with the latter including a bobblehead, a comic book, an art card, and more.
Let’s take a brief look at the key features:
– Discover the mysteries of a bizarre world and follow a figure known as The Batter.
– Defeat the specters using a completely overhauled combat system.
– Encounter a rollercoaster too terrifying to ride, a library haunted by a book thief, a mall that you can’t escape.
– The new version of OFF introduces entirely new locales and bosses conceived by the game’s creator Mortis Ghost.
– Cleanse the Queen’s Zones so her citizens can return to their tasks.
We will have more information on OFF, including its release date, in the upcoming weeks.
