What an imbalance a Bellow creates
- by Gavin Lane
It’s been a hectic week for Nintendo and its enthusiasts, and that’s clear. With the Switch 1 in a definite ‘wind-down’ phase during these final months — although quietly releasing titles like Xenoblade Chronicles X, to be precise! — last week’s Switch 2 Bellow unveiled new items, fresh faces, yet also new inquiries.
In reality, it is the lack of clarity surrounding certain elements that has led us to feel a bit more confused than we ought to be regarding matters like game keys and NS2 Version updates. There is conflicting information circulating from customer support representatives and official Nintendo Store staff who likely have been informed and have a formal Q&A document available – yet somehow they seem to not be on the same page.
Well, it wouldn’t be a Nintendo console without some puzzling aspects, right!? Beyond these smaller inquiries, there are additional factors about the console and its impressive software lineup that the platform holder is deliberately keeping us in the dark about.
We have reached out for clarification on multiple issues and have already posed a variety of questions. Some of these (e.g., “Is the Odyssey team working on DK Bananza?”) have received your typical “No comment.” Conversely, with the Switch 2 Capabilities coming to London this weekend, we might have another opportunity to get answers directly from the source.
Of course, we have our own follow-up questions for which we will be seeking answers, but we also wanted to ask you wonderful folks: Are there any pressing queries regarding the Switch hardware or the confirmed lineup that you would like answered?
Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments; we will compile them and attempt to get answers to as many as possible in the coming days. We have already inquired about Mother 3, but if it’s related to Switch 2 and you can’t get it out of your mind, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
