“CoD: Unlit Ops 6 Unveils Exciting Squid Sport Event Featuring Red and Green Lights, Exclusive Operator Bundles, and Exciting Rewards!”

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone will dive into the competitive universe of Squid Game on December 3, introducing a new match inspired by the popular Netflix series. Activision has revealed the full details of the Squid Game collaboration, including unique game modes and operator bundles.

As reported earlier, there are also free and premium tiers of rewards that players can earn and unlock throughout the Squid Game event. All of these items are categorized below.

Acquire Squid Game-themed cosmetics

The Squid Game event features free and premium tracks of event rewards that players can unlock simply by participating in the game and earning XP. There are 10 Squid Game-themed items available for both tracks.

For the free tiers, notable rewards include two operator skins and a brand new cleaver melee weapon. The Player 006 operator skin represents Niran, while the Player 115 skin is for Maya. Additional rewards include a loading screen, emblem, sticker, calling card, and more.

The paid “premium” track rewards include the Front Man operator unlock and four weapon blueprints. Smaller rewards encompass a finishing move, an emote, gun screen, and additional items. This premium track costs 1,100 CoD Points ($10) to unlock, which is the same price as a standard season battle pass.

Red Light, Green Light mini-match mode

One of Squid Game’s most iconic challenges is recreated in Black Ops 6. Red Light, Green Light appears on the Red Card multiplayer map, utilizing the space for a game of Red Light, Green Light with Young-hee.

In this mini-game, players compete in three rounds of Red Light, Green Light, each lasting two minutes. In Round 1, players do not receive a weapon. In Rounds 2 and 3, players can find weapons on the ground and eliminate opponents using melee attacks and finishing moves. Participants must survive and safely cross the finish line to win.

Pentathlon mini-match mode

Pentathlon allows players to compete across a series of five game modes. This includes Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint, along with two Squid Game-themed modes called Piggy Bank Workers Deathmatch and Roulette.

In Piggy Bank Workers Deathmatch, each elimination adds points to the Mega Piggy Bank on the map. The piggy bank will drop cash throughout the match, and players will battle for control of the money.

In Roulette, one-shot eliminations can be achieved using the Roulette Handgun, which awards double points. However, with every fired shot, there is a risk that the weapon will explode in the player’s hands.

Squid Game Moshpit

Within the Squid Game Moshpit playlist, there are three game modes. Workers Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint are featured with a twist. The modes may incorporate the following Squid Game-themed elements:

• Red Light, Green Light Scorestreak: Halt your foes in their tracks with this scorestreak that activates “Red Light,” commanding all enemy players to stop moving or face elimination.
• Piggy Bank: Eliminated players have a chance of dropping a Piggy Bank that grants a small points boost when collected. For a larger payout, look for the Mega Piggy Bank. Each elimination contributes additional points to the Mega Piggy Bank, so once it falls, battle for it to maximize the points stored within.
• Roulette Handgun: The Roulette Handgun spawns in the center of the map. Grab it to trigger a permanent UAV effect while wielding it and achieve one-shot eliminations against enemies, earning far more than double the standard score to help you accumulate scorestreaks faster. The catch? Your position will be visible to all, and each shot runs the risk of causing the weapon to explode, taking you out with it.

Zombie mode of Red Light, Green Light

This Zombies-themed version of Red Light, Green Light is available on Liberty Falls and Citadelle des Morts.

In the “Green Light” phase, players earn a bonus to the amount of Essence they collect while eliminating zombies. Once “Red Light” is called, Essence is drained from any player who moves.

An additional “Dead Light” phase is also included, which Activision vaguely described as “a challenging fight” with a “more aggressive wave of enemies.”

Squid Game on Urzikstan

Warzone is also joining the Squid Game excitement. Set on the Urzikstan map, this Squid Game mini-match mode is described as a rotating series.
