As exciting as it is to witness the revival of this type of game, it appears there will be a caveat – with The Pokémon Company confirming in conjunction with this announcement that certain “restrictions” will be in place at launch. It seems that only “select Pokémon” will be available for use in Pokémon Champions, and not every single Pokémon that exists in Pokémon HOME will be accessible.
