Geoff Keighley’s Sports Awards were broadcast last night, and the Tenth annual ceremony once again presented a variety of accolades amidst these major game titles.

The coveted Game of the Year award was bestowed upon Team Asobi’s Astro Bot. The PlayStation platformer secured a nomination alongside Dark Delusion Wukong, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Balatro, and Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Astro also clinched awards in the Game Direction, Action/Adventure, and Family Game categories. Balatro and Metaphor each achieved three wins: the deckbuilder was honored for Best Independent Game, Best Mobile, and Debut Indie, while Atlus’ RPG secured recognition for Best Narrative, Art Direction, and Best RPG.
