
Capcom Elevates Monster Hunter Producer to Chief Product Officer Amid Shift in Strategy
Capcom’s current executive officer and chief product officer, Yoichi Egawa, will resign on April 1, with Monster Hunter producer Ryozo Tsujimoto taking over the position on that date.
President and COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto will assume Egawa’s role of managing Capcom’s Pachinko and Pachislo business divisions.
Ryozo Tsujimoto – who currently serves as director and executive officer responsible for development divisions – has been with the Japanese conglomerate since joining as a graduate in April 1996.
Kenkichi Nomura is also stepping down from his role as executive VP, with Yoshinobu Sasahara and Satoshi Arai transitioning to new positions of executive officer and managing officer, respectively.
Both Egawa and Nomura will continue to serve on Capcom’s board as directors.
