Capcom Bids Farewell to Resident Monstrous: The End of an Era for Multiplayer Gaming
Capcom is discontinuing its cooperative multiplayer game, Resident Evil Re:Verse.
Starting March 3, 2025, the game and its downloadable content will be taken down from online marketplaces and will no longer be included with Resident Evil Village.
Players who received a download code for the game prior to this date or have already redeemed a code to access the title will still be able to play until the servers are turned off on June 29.
After the service ends, users who purchased a premium membership for the game will cease to receive any benefits.
“Resident Evil Re:Verse was created to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series, and your incredible support for the game has greatly surpassed our expectations since its launch,” Capcom remarked.
“With this new chapter for the series, we look forward to what lies ahead.”
