Call of Duty: Dark Ops 6‘s new in-game event themed around Squid Game will commence today at 6pm UK time (10am PT / 1pm ET), although its best rewards remain concealed behind the event’s exclusive premium battle pass.
As explained in a recent blog post, the Squid Game crossover encourages players to “risk it all or perish trying,” introducing themed rewards and several limited-time modes across multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone inspired by the popular Netflix series, alongside Red Guards, VIPs, and the menacing singing doll, Young-hee.

“But all the genuinely playable content is free now,” reminded u/hypehold. “We have received more maps in BO6 (all free) than we did in the opening six months of Black Ops 1.”
