Blippo+ Showcase Teaser – YouTube

Gape On

Someone might truly want to investigate the developer of Untitled Goose Game, Terror, since their latest revelation is utterly bizarre.

Terror has unexpectedly unveiled what seems to be a full-fledged video game called Blippo+ today, and almost every aspect of it appears nonsensical. I mean that in the most straightforward way possible. The trailer, the game’s Steam description, and Terror’s promotional wording are all complete gibberish.

Honestly, I’m attempting to describe this game to you. I feel a responsibility to do so, and yet… well, this is what you see when you open the game’s Steam page:

“⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿

⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⠟⠉⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⣤⣶⣿⡿⠟⠋⠀⢀⡀⠀⢀⣠⣴⣏⣤⣴⣿

⣿⣿⣿⠟⠋⠀⠀⠀⢀⣠⣴⣿⣿⣿⣟⣭⣤⣶⠾⠛⢉⣠⣶⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡿⣿

⣿⠏⠁⠀⢀⣠⣴⣶⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⡿⠟⠛⠉⠀⠀⠒⠛⠉⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⣰⣿

Weekly digests, stories from the communities you love, and more

⣿⣀⣤⣶⣿⡿⠟⢋⣡⣾⠿⠛⠉⠀⠀⠀⣀⡠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣿

⣿⣿⠿⠋⠁⢀⠴⠛⠉⠀⠀⢀⣠⣴⡶⣟⣡⣤⠖⠊⠀⠀⠀⣀⠠⠀⠀⠀⠀⣿

⣿⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⣴⣿⣿⣿⣿⠿⠛⠉⣀⣠⣤⣶⡾⢋⣁⣠⣤⣶⣾⣿⣿

⣿⠀⠀⠀⠀⣠⣴⣾⣿⣿⡿⣛⣩⣤⣶⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿

⣿⣤⣤⣴⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿

⠀ video is no game™”

Do you see what I mean? After the list of features on Steam are random phrases like “Non-Demand, Linear Broadcast, ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿ Enabled, Commercial-Free, Under The Air (UTA), Over-The-Top, Read-Only, End-User Information System, With Robust Electronic Program Guide.”

The trailer featured at the end of this article does little to clarify the situation, branding Blippo+ as a “revolutionary television experience.”

“Don’t enjoy what’s on? You can always change the cha–,” a narrator begins, only to be interrupted by a flickering screen displaying, “Wonky signal.” We then see a series of blurry full-motion video clips of various TV personalities saying many things that seemingly lack any connection to one another.

And that’s… essentially all we currently have on Blippo+, folks. I don’t even know what platforms it will be available on or when it is set to launch. It has a Steam page, so a PC version is confirmed, but it also appears to resemble a Playdate game, and I can imagine the crank on Terror’s handheld might be involved, potentially for changing channels? I’m really at a loss here. I feel like I’ve let you down, but Blippo+ simply hasn’t provided enough clarity! I suppose we shall learn more soon? Hopefully?

How am I supposed to get any rest tonight?

I think I’m going to grab something from our list of the best Switch games to play and try to forget all about this.
