Blind Squirrel Games Expands Horizon with Acquisition of Disbursed Style

Blind Squirrel Games has acquired the Colombian-based studio, Distributed Development.

Renamed as Blind Squirrel Colombia, the team—purchased for an undisclosed amount—will initially concentrate on collaborative development and is anticipated to expand to 25-30 employees by year-end.

BSG mentioned that the acquisition “bolsters Blind Squirrel’s presence with teams already in the U.S. and New Zealand, establishing a global network focused on economical AAA game production.”

“This acquisition also enhances Blind Squirrel’s creative skills, especially through the integration of its proprietary AI tool for Unreal Engine,” a spokesperson stated.
