In Avowed, players can discover unique and powerful treasures across the landscape by using treasure maps to locate concealed items. In Galawain’s Tusks, you’ll obtain The Blade that Hungers treasure map from Bulti, a merchant positioned in Solace Aid. He is located on the upper level of Solace Aid, within the shrine area. After acquiring the treasure map, the side quest will commence.
The Blade that Hungers Treasure Location
The Blade that Hungers treasure can be found in a chest located at the northern tip of Ash Forest. Navigate to the most northern point directly above the “S” in Ash, and you’ll spot a small cave entrance. Proceed into the tunnel and keep an eye out to find a chest further north, in an area that appears to be off the map. Inside the chest, you can discover the Umbral Needle, a legendary rare dagger.
The Umbral Needle features two abilities: Fampyr’s Bite, which heals 2% of damage inflicted, and Greater Opening Strike, which grants a 15% damage boost against enemies with full health. You can enhance the Umbral Needle via the enchantment table at camp. Acquiring the Umbral Dagger will mark the quest as complete. If you’re not interested in keeping the dagger, it can be dismantled for upgrade materials or sold for a substantial 11,700 gold.
