Both games are nominated for Sport of the Year alongside the indie sensation Balatro
The nominees for the twenty-fifth annual Game Developers Choice Awards have been announced, with Astro Bot and Black Myth: Wukong leading with seven nominations each.
In the nine categories, Group Asobi’s platform game and Sport Science’s RPG were nominated for Game of the Year, in addition to Best Design, Best Experience, and Best Audio.
Two of the most successful indie titles were also recognized, with Animal Well receiving five nominations and Balatro with four, including Game of the Year.
The awards ceremony will take place on March 19 during this year’s GDC at San Francisco’s Moscone Convention Center, which runs from March 17 to March 21.
