Artistic Showdown: The Battle of Field Creativity

Prepare your paintbrushes, because it’s time for another installment of Box Art Brawl!

Last week, we showcased a set of three covers for Wario Land 3 on the Game Boy Color, and after a weekend of voting, we ended up with a definitive victor. The European version won, securing 42% of the votes, while the North American and Japanese covers garnered 36% and 22%, respectively.

This time, we drew inspiration from Hideki Kamiya’s TGA announcement fall, as we spotlight the iconic Wii Zelda-inspired title, Okami. Indeed, a sequel is in development, so it’s only fitting that we revisit the game’s origins (in addition, we already covered the DS sequel back in 2020).
