Loombe will manage the organization’s publishing, development, and creative departments
Annapurna Interactive has named former Netflix Games executive Leanne Loombe as the new head of video games.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Loombe will manage the company’s publishing, development, and creative departments.
She will report to Annapurna’s president of interactive and new media, Hector Sanchez, who returned to the company last June after spending five years at Memoir Games.
“I’ve always appreciated how thoughtfully Annapurna supports developers with a strong creative vision, empowering them to create exceptional games that players cherish,” Loombe expressed on LinkedIn.
“This is a rare opportunity to continue building and enhancing a space for developers to call home. I am thrilled to join such an incredible company and contribute to shaping the future of storytelling.”
Sanchez remarked: “Few leaders possess the extensive experience that Leanne brings across QA, publishing, and internal game development. She comprehends what it takes to create a quality game from the ground up, which makes her an excellent collaborator for our developers.”
Loombe previously served at Revolt Games as the head of third and second-party development for its publishing brand, Revolt Forge. She departed from that role in 2021 to embark on new ventures.
