Is this a hint?
We’ve been hearing quite a bit about the Oblivion remake lately (despite the fact that it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet), and earlier this week, it was speculated that it might release unexpectedly for Xbox Game Pass on Thursday.
That… did not occur. However, the individual who mentioned that date remains optimistic that the Oblivion remake is arriving soon, citing a Steam update that recently removed the trailer for one of the versions of the game.
Upon further reflection, it turns out it is just one of the Steam versions that lost its trailer – so this could just be some routine maintenance rather than an indication of anything significant. Nevertheless, it has certainly raised people’s expectations.
For what it’s worth, DetectiveSeeds maintains their claim that the Oblivion remake will arrive shortly:
“I am confident in the information I shared about the Oblivion Remake for this week or next week. The source that gave me this info three weeks ago has reiterated that it is indeed coming, and their info has been reliable as recently as this past Monday with DOOM: The Dark Ages. If it doesn’t come to fruition, I will take responsibility and admit we were mistaken, as one should when reporting this. For now, I’m sticking to their information, so feel free to criticize me all you wish. I have tough skin and do my best.”
