Activision Hints at the Comeback of Tony Hawk

Earlier this week, professional skater Tyshawn Jones mentioned that he was aware of a new Tony Hawk remaster “coming soon.”

If that weren’t enough to excite dedicated skateboarding fans, Activision’s first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 seems to be hinting at a new set of remasters within the Season 2 theme ‘Grind’.

This returning skatepark-themed theme (previously featured in Black Ops 2 and 4) is set in Venice Beach, California, and now displays a poster inside the skate shop featuring the date “03.04.25” (which is March 4) formatted in the Tony Hawk font.

As many fans have pointed out, the date coincidentally aligns with earlier rumors regarding the next remasters being the third and fourth installments in the Pro Skater series. Tony Hawk himself has even acknowledged this with the eyes emoji:

So it does appear that we might be hearing some news very soon…
