Amazon has included one of the most favored Lego Star Wars crafts available presently in its Black Friday Lego discount. The 1,555-piece Imperial Star Destroyer is priced at $120 (originally $160) for a limited time. This Star Destroyer was released last August as part of the Lego Star Wars 25th Anniversary series. It comprises seven minifigures, including a commemorative minifigure of Cal Kestis from Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi franchise.
The Imperial Star Destroyer is inspired by the vessel from the opening chase sequence of Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope. Once entirely assembled, the Star Destroyer measures 18 x 11.5 x 6 inches.
It is quite appropriate that Amazon included the Star Destroyer in its Black Friday sale, as Star Wars enthusiasts can also acquire the Lego rendition of the ship being pursued by Darth Vader and his crew: Princess Leia’s Tantive IV. The 654-piece Tantive IV display model is 50% off on Amazon and Walmart. You might combine both of these vessels with Lego’s Boarding the Tantive IV diorama, which is available for $38.49 (previously $55) and illustrates the events following the Star Destroyer’s capture of the Tantive IV. It’s also important to mention that Lego’s 630-piece midi-scale replica of Darth Vader’s Executor Super Star Destroyer from Return of the Jedi is discounted to $40 (regular price $70) at Walmart.
