Update []: The Switch 2 Edition of SHUTEN ORDER is now accessible today. It again enables a superior frame rate, allowing for a dynamic frame rate ranging from 60 to 120 fps in both docked and portable settings. Additionally, Joy-Con 2 mouse controls are implemented in certain sections of the game where applicable.
The Upgrade Pack for current Switch users will cost $2.49 (or the equivalent in your region). The full game versions for Switch 2 and Switch are presently on offer in select areas.
Original Story: Following the debut of SHUTEN ORDER on Switch in September, a Switch 2 Edition has been officially unveiled.
It is set to launch later this month on 27th November 2025 at an introductory price of 6,579 yen. This 10% reduction is in effect until 4th December 2025. The local pricing for the full game is yet to be determined, but a paid Upgrade Pack will be available for existing Switch users. Fortunately, it will only be a modest amount of 330 Yen (approximately $2).
In terms of features, the Switch 2 Edition will allow a higher frame rate, providing a variable frame rate from 60 to 120 fps in both docked and portable configurations. Moreover, there will be Joy-Con 2 mouse controls in portions of the game where it is supported.
