Nintendo continues to unveil its newest game launches with fresh events in its mobile runner Super Mario Run, and up next is a partnership with Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2.

This event is currently in progress and, similar to prior events, you’ll have the opportunity to unlock themed statues. For this specific event, this includes statues for Bee Mario, Rosalina, and Balloon Yoshi. During this event, one course will be accessible daily for free.

Here’s a glimpse of each of these statues, with the event planned to continue from now until 22nd January 2026.

This follows earlier Super Mario Run events for titles such as Super Mario Party Jamboree, Mario & Luigi: Brother Ship, and Super Mario Wonder.

Nintendo launched Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the Switch last month. If you haven’t had the chance to try it, we can assure you it’s still out of this universe, even if the complete package comes at a steep cost:

“There’s no doubt about it: Super Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2 represent two of the most extraordinary games ever conceived. With gameplay that subverts expectations and scenarios that couldn’t be realized without the imaginative liberty of the cosmos, they epitomize the Mario series at its ultimate best. They appear better than ever, feature small yet appreciated enhancements, and enrich the narrative with new storybook pages…These games demand a significant investment on Switch, to be certain, but you’ll be enjoying them for the remainder of your life.”
