“The most significant and largest update thus far”
It has been several months since Dying Light: The Beast debuted on Xbox and other systems, and today, the title has just received its most considerable update since launch – ideal timing as it coincides with the Xbox Black Friday Sale 2025!
This update introduces a New Game+ mode, ray tracing support on PC, three additional finishers, and Legend Levels that offer the “traditional Dying Light end-game progression system.” Here’s some additional information on the key two features for Xbox:
NEW GAME+: “You can now replay Kyle’s narrative in New Game+ while preserving all equipment, weapons, and character advances from your initial playthrough. The enemy difficulty is heightened, but you’ll also find superior-tier weapons and loot to align with the challenge. New Game+ can be attempted multiple times – each completed session further amplifies the game’s difficulty level and unlocks access to even more powerful and rare weapons, along with the most formidable foes in Castor Woods.”
LEGEND LEVELS: “Legend Levels represent the classic Dying Light end-game progression system that extends your character beyond the primary skill tree. Upon reaching Level 15, all earned XP is transformed into Legend XP. More challenging difficulty settings and elevated New Game+ tiers boost XP accrual, meaning the more you push your limits, the quicker you progress. Each Legend Level confers Legend Points that can be allocated towards passive enhancements such as increased health, enhanced combat statistics, and improved Beast Mode performance. Each level also raises your maximum health by a fixed percentage, assisting you in remaining competitive in higher NG+ tiers. Legend Levels also unveil a vast array of new rewards to unlock: 22 new weapons (melee and firearms, including vintage firearms), 2 complete outfits (12 gear pieces), and fresh legendary vehicle skins.”
Alongside all this, there are over 400 enhancements as mentioned previously, encompassing environmental & navigational adjustments, gameplay fixes, graphical enhancements, and much more. If you’re intrigued, the complete list of everything is accessible on the official Dying Light site.
So, if you’re interested in purchasing Dying Light: The Beast from the Xbox Store, you’ll be pleased to know it has been discounted by 20% for the Xbox Black Friday Sale, reducing the price from £59.99 / $59.99 to £47.99 / $47.99 until early December!
