Incorporating the execution of a fan modification
Update []: After its debut on PC earlier this month, Team Cherry has confirmed today that the fourth Hollow Knight: Silksong update is now “active on all platforms”.
Raising the version to the memorably-named Ver. 1.0.28891, the major enhancement in this release is the introduction of a new Simplified Chinese translation by Team Cart Fix, though a comprehensive bug-fixing effort has also been performed.
You can find everything listed in the complete patch notes, which we included in our initial post below.

Original Story: Team Cherry has revealed a fresh update for Hollow Knight: Silksong, and although it’s already available for Steam players, it has been submitted for console approval and will be accessible shortly.
Mainly, the update resolves the Chinese translation difficulties in the game by integrating a fan mod from Team Cart Fix. Team Cherry commends the team’s contributions, affirming that the individuals involved “are knowledgeable about the (rather intricate) narrative and lore of both Hollow Knight titles, and grasp the subtle links and connections that must be preserved in the text.”
Other highlights comprise a film grain effect, additional dithering choices, and numerous general corrections.
