Is The Pokémon Café’s New Mega Dimension Menu Teasing Some Returning Legendaries?
If you have been observing the latest trailers for Pokémon Legends: Z-A‘s Mega Dimension DLC, you are undoubtedly aware that doughnuts play a rather significant part in the dimension-traveling — what else would you anticipate, it’s Pokémon! The Pokémon Cafe’s new offerings appear poised to introduce these delightful confections into reality, and it may also hint that a duo of legendary ‘mon will return in the DLC.
Indeed, we exist in a realm where Pokémon revelations can arise from anywhere, even from pastries. But seriously, examine the two pastries above — currently labeled as “Red Doughnut” and “Blue Doughnut” on the Pokémon Café’s Pikachu Sweets webpage — and tell us that you don’t recognize Gen III legends Groudon and Kyogre.

These two doughnuts will be available at Tokyo’s Pikachu Sweets shop starting on 10th December for 550 yen. The promotional item description hints, “The doughnuts draw inspiration from the unique doughnuts featured in the paid expansion content, ‘Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension’! They appear to resemble some kind of Pokémon…?” — well, you don’t say.
An ‘Hoopa’s Mischief Ruby Chocolate Frappe’ will also be added to the menu on the same date. Its vibrant pink appearance, whipped cream, and Cheerio topping make it look a touch too sugary in this author’s view, but its commitment to the DLC theme is commendable.
You will be able to commence your adventure through Hyperspace Luminose when the Legends: Z-A DLC is released on 10th December for £24.99 / $29.99. We’ve observed several new Megas joining the expansion so far, including Raichu, Baxcalibur, Chimecho, and Zeraora. The final news update regarding the DLC will be provided next week on 2nd December, so prepare for even more newcomers.
