Circana’s Mat Piscatella has once more taken to social media recently to disclose game sales statistics for the US in 2025, and perhaps predictably Battlefield 6 is a complete sensation, particularly on Xbox and PC.
On these two platforms specifically, the latest EA shooter is now the top-selling game of 2025 thus far, at least in the US. Over on PlayStation, BF6 occupies the 2nd position – only behind NBA 2K26.
The positive news for EA and Battlefield Studios doesn’t end there. As per Circana data, Battlefield 6’s launch in October has achieved the highest revenue total for a solo game since Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 back in October 2022. BF6 is now the top-selling installment in franchise history and has already eclipsed the lifetime revenue of the previous record holder — Battlefield 1 — which is quite remarkable at such an early phase.
Regarding Xbox-developed titles, Microsoft has three games in Circana’s top 20 game sales in the US this year so far: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Forza Horizon 5, and Oblivion Remastered (Minecraft too, but the data firm categorizes this as a multi-publisher release).
We’ll include that 20-strong game sales list below for you to examine:
