Netflix’s animated show, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, is making its return to the streaming platform next month, with the second season commencing on 11th December. And guess what, we even have a trailer!
This upcoming and concluding season, which once again features Hayley Atwell in the lead character, follows Lara and her companions as they traverse the globe in pursuit of ancient masks that possess enigmatic powers. Additionally, there’s a wealthy “tech visionary” also seeking the artifacts, so it’s no surprise who the heroes and villains are in this scenario.
The fresh trailer (above) offers a glimpse of the animated excitement we can anticipate in December, with extraordinary headgear, world-spanning adventures, and a confrontation with a shark — indeed, you read that right.
The initial series received a variety of reviews upon its debut last year, but with a live-action version in development at Amazon and the 2013 game making an unexpected return on Switch and Switch 2 today, perhaps there will be elevated interest this time around? We have our doubts, but hey, it’s a fantastic time to be a Tomb Raider enthusiast!
