Super Evil Megacorp has persistently issued various updates for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate since its debut on the eShop in 2024, and today it has introduced the ‘Wrath Invasion Update’.

Astral Wraiths are now intruding the game’s storyline and are causing chaos throughout New York City. New Wraith Minibosses can be discovered in the Sewers and on the Rooftops, and there’s now also a more seamless unlock experience in the game’s Arcade Mode.

PATCH NOTES

ARCADE MODE

  • Enhanced Onboarding experience
    • There is now a tutorial moment and unlock event when Arcade Mode is accessible
    • Unlock criteria for challenges has been modified, but if you have already participated in challenges for which you would no longer be eligible, you will still have the opportunity to engage with them
    • Improved guidance for navigation within Metalhead’s Lab
  • There is now an initial victory bonus for accomplishing a new challenge. If you have previously completed challenges, this bonus will be conferred to you upon your next entry to Metalhead’s Lab.
  • Astral Ship Challenge 1 has been adjusted slightly to serve more as a tutorial level
  • Wraiths no longer teleport outside the boundaries

ASTRAL WRAITH

  • Astral Wraiths will start to infiltrate Campaign encounters after you finish Arcade Mode Astral Ship Challenge 1
  • Wraiths can randomly appear in any standard combat area
  • There are 2 new Wraith Campaign minibosses:
    • Sewers “Astral Wraith” miniboss
    • Rooftops “Twin Assassins?” miniboss
    • New miniboss stats have been included in the computer located in the Home Lair

OTHER

  • We adjusted Double Select behavior to allow you to choose from the top of the reward tree instead of merely within Powers. Now you can still obtain another power OR select something different.
  • You can now view your Run Details from the shop interface
  • Enhanced error handling while searching for a run in Online Play, which will lead to finding a match more swiftly
  • Dragon’s Claw power is no longer for sale in Arena mode

BUGS FIXED

  • [PC/Mac] Characters only dash towards the mouse at low aim assist settings
  • Resolved a few instances where players could become stuck within levels
  • [Arena][XBX] Occasionally the player character becomes unresponsive after selecting Hex/Flex from the Shop
  • [DLC][ART] The functionality of the Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons appears reversed within the Art Book
  • ‘Turnstone’ artifact fails to unlock after expending 1300 Dragon coins across all game modes
  • Dragon’s Claw turtle power is no longer available for purchase in Arena mode
  • ‘Adrenaline’ ninja turtle power description does not update when upgraded to levels 2 or 3 in the run detail menu throughout gameplay
  • “Waiting for P1” banner sometimes lingers in the arena if the guest is positioned near the portal when the host selects a challenge
  • Challenge Seeker metal power can show up before the player has unlocked shimmering and gauntlet portals.
  • [PS5][PS4] Player cannot initiate a multiplayer session after waking from sleep mode
  • Casey’s and Metalhead’s Wraps are being awarded additively instead of as a watermark
  • Challenge Seeker metal power can appear before player has unlocked shimmering and gauntlet portals.
  • [XB1] Character continues to run to the right if the thumbstick gets slightly moved
  • [DLC] ‘Critical Hit chance’ does not operate correctly when landing Final Strike after utilizing Special ability when Casey’s Inspiration 2 is enhanced to any level
  • Bonus currency reward of dragon coins does not get granted for ‘Masteries’ & ‘Inspirations’ after unlocking ‘Busted Coin Slot’ dreamer upgrade
