Netflix has released an initial trailer for the upcoming second season of its animated series, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft.
In Season 2, Lara (Hayley Atwell) is assigned the mission of locating several ancient artifacts before they can be acquired by the wrong individuals. It’s a rather typical plot one would anticipate from a series of this nature, yet it’s sufficient to initiate another action-filled journey.
“Lara speeds across the planet to unearth ancient African treasures before a techno-visionary intent on playing god exploits them to trigger global calamity.”
The first series was received fairly well, progressing the character as we all await that elusive new Tomb Raider game from Amazon and Crystal Dynamics.
According to Variety, season 2 is set to conclude the series, so hopefully it will provide fans with a fulfilling resolution.
