Only two days following the launch
If you’ve been engaging with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 today, you may have observed that it’s unexpectedly requesting an update – and that’s due to Treyarch releasing the initial post-launch update since its arrival on November 14th.
There are just a handful of minor modifications across two aspects of the game – Multiplayer and Zombies.
Here are the patch notes:
MULTIPLAYER
Playlists
- Fixed a problem where chosen Game Modes in the Quick Play filter could occasionally become reversed if a player dismissed After-Action Report menus and proceeded with matchmaking.
Custom Loadouts
- Resolved an issue that hindered players from easily establishing Custom Loadouts 6-10 if Spanish was their chosen game language.
Stability
- Numerous crash and stability enhancements.
ZOMBIES
Gameplay
- Ashes of the Damned
- Closed several exploits on Ashes of the Damned that permitted players to escape targeting from adversaries.
Stability
- Numerous crash and stability enhancements.
We weren’t exaggerating when we stated this was a minor update! We will undoubtedly see much larger updates in the future, and it’s quite commendable for Treyarch to release this after just two days.
I’ve personally been enjoying the Multiplayer and Zombies components of Black Ops 7 so far, but I realize Ben hasn’t been as impressed with the Co-Op Campaign, which only received a 4/10 here at Pure Xbox. What are your thoughts thus far?
