By Is a COD weekend on the horizon?

It’s time for yet another weekend! It’s been a hectic week in the gaming realm once more — particularly with Valve unveiling a range of new hardware — but we’re here to discuss games this weekend, with Black Ops 7 spearheading the lineup on Xbox Game Pass.
Here’s what we will be playing over the upcoming days:

As you’ve likely surmised, I will certainly be diving into some Black Ops 7 this weekend! With the campaign, multiplayer and Zombies mode to explore, I’m somewhat unsure where to commence. Yes, I recognize COD has become rather stale for many people these days, yet I still truly cherish the Call of Duty season every year. It’s just something you can always count on!
Apart from COD, I’m still engaging with a bit of ARC Raiders, Gears of War: Reloaded, The Crew Motorfest Season 8 – all sorts really! If I manage to find any free time outside of Black Ops 7, I’ll likely dip into one of those – probably The Crew just to cruise around and unwind after getting intense on Call of Duty multiplayer.

Yes, I’m still captivated by Football Manager 26 on the ROG Xbox Ally X. Initially, I found it challenging to play on the compact screen, so I docked the device and utilized a mouse and keyboard to acclimatize to the brand-new (and quite cumbersome) FM26 interface, before switching back to handheld mode once I got the hang of it. Everything’s running smoothly now, and it’s incredible to be playing the full version of Football Manager on an Xbox-branded gadget.
The Ally X is where I’m spending practically all my time at present, but if I do activate my Xbox Series X at all, it’ll be to play either the recently-released Contraband Police or LEGO Party! with my wife. I’m still not entirely convinced by the latter – it has some fantastic concepts and I appreciate what it’s attempting to do, but it seems to lack some of Mario Party’s charm.
I noticed Elijah Wood raving about Blue Prince recently as well, so I’m eager to play that again now!
