Monster Hunter’s iconic weapons and creatures are officially making the leap to Magic: The Gathering as part of the next Secret Lair drop, and yes, that does include Nergigante

Wizards of the Coast have revealed the upcoming Secret Lair drop linked to Magic: The Gathering, which will connect with the realm of Capcom‘s renowned franchise Monster Hunter. With its regular in-universe expansions, the increasing collection of Universe Beyond sets such as Final Fantasy and Avatar: The Last Airbender, alongside numerous limited-time Secret Lair collections, Magic: The Gathering is undoubtedly relentless in its expansion.

The Monster Hunter Superdrop will be up for purchase starting December 1 and will continue until December 22 or while stocks last. As with most Superdrops, it will comprise four smaller sets featuring an abundance of visuals and creatures from throughout the franchise’s illustrious history.

And naturally, there are the creatures. Both the third and fourth drops in the collection focus exclusively on Monster Hunter’s extensive legacy – all of which will be depicted as Legendary Creatures. The Monsters’ two drops draw from across the Monster Hunter franchise, including earlier titles such as Monster Hunter Generations, as well as newer additions like Monster Hunter Rise.
