You can now transmit Vampire Survivors straight into your vision, as developer Poncle’s indie-bullet-hell phenomenon is currently available on a new platform: VR.
More precisely, it’s accessible for the Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest Pro, and Meta Quest 2, with a fresh trailer encouraging gamers to “be the bullet hell, right on your face.”
This variant of Vampire Survivors will incorporate two of the game’s DLC expansions, Legacy of the Moonspell and Tides of the Foscari, integrated. Both expansions introduce additional levels, characters, weapons, and adversaries for players to explore. Vampire Survivors VR, therefore, carries a marginally higher price of $10, compared to $5 on platforms such as Steam.
Aside from that, Vampire Survivors VR appears to be precisely the game fans have learned to adore. Equip various weapons, enhance your levels, gather gold, buy upgrades, and see how long you can survive against the vampiric hordes. It’s an enticing formula for a reason and one that has been emulated by many other games since Vampire Survivors debuted in 2021, yet it doesn’t diminish the original’s uniqueness.
For those in search of their next Survivors-style game, Poncle is collaborating with developer Auroch Digital on Warhammer Survivors. This game will utilize the Vampire Survivors engine but feature foes, weapons, and realms from both the Warhammer fantasy and Warhammer: 40,000 sci-fi settings. Warhammer Survivors is set to launch in 2026 on PC.
