Florence Pugh has openly discussed a project she wishes she hadn’t accepted – stating she regrets making the Netflix horror film Malevolent.
“It’s likely the one film I wish I never participated in,” Pugh shared with The Louis Theroux podcast. “I believe everyone encounters one of those films.”
“I feel it was merely a film I undertook when I was more youthful and in need of cash,” she added. “And I thought, ‘Well, obviously this is fantastic.’ But when I arrived, it wasn’t fantastic.”
Coming up for Pugh is a major blockbuster double feature – she will appear in both Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three, which are slated for release on the same date next December. In Doomsday, she will reprise her role as Yelena Belova from Thunderbolts*, whereas Dune 3 will feature her return as Princess Irulan.
